EADRIATIC LEAGUE RULES

DEFINITIONS & TERMINOLOGY

For the purpose of this Rulebook, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

  • League refers to the eAdriatic League.
  • Player refers to a registered competitor under contract with a participating esports club.
  • Club refers to an esports organization officially participating in the League.
  • Hub refers to an official League venue where matches are played.
  • Supervisor refers to an authorized esports official responsible for match supervision and integrity.
  • Match refers to a single competitive game between two players.
  • Rulebook refers to this official document governing all League competitions.
  • Mini-Tournament refers to a group-based competition format using a round-robin system.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The eAdriatic League is a professional esports league organized in accordance with the principles of traditional sports competitions, fair play, and competitive integrity.

Participation in the eAdriatic League is possible exclusively through official qualification tournaments. This tournament is not affiliated with or sponsored by Electronic Arts Inc. or its licensors.

The competition is held exclusively in esports disciplines in a 1v1 (face-to-face) format on PlayStation consoles. Matches are played on the newest version of EA SPORTS FIFA using Kick-Off mode, Legendary difficulty, and all teams and all players have a rating of 95.

League competition is held daily based on a predefined schedule published at least 24 hours in advance on the official website.

All matches are played under the supervision of certified esports supervisors delegated by national esports federations. ESIC principles and anti-doping standards are strictly followed.

All matches are broadcast live via YouTube and Twitch. Gameplay footage and player video are recorded; audio from hubs is not transmitted.

Participation is limited to players 18 years of age or older.

PLAYER ATTENDANCE & MATCH CHECK-IN

PROCEDURE

Each player competes in a strictly scheduled time slot.

Upon arrival at the League hub, the player must report to the official esports supervisor, verify attendance, and leave all mobile phones and personal electronic devices in the designated area.

Players must check in and be fully prepared at least 15 minutes before the scheduled match start, including wearing the official team jersey and being ready at the assigned gaming station.

Failure to follow this procedure may result in penalties, match forfeiture, or disciplinary action.

CODE OF CONDUCT

All participants must demonstrate professional, respectful, and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.

Discrimination, harassment, abusive language, threats, or any behavior detrimental to the integrity of the L eague is strictly prohibited.

Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, fines, or permanent bans.

Strictly Prohibited

Use of illegal substances, narcotics, or doping agents

Use of mobile phones or personal electronic devices in hubs

Leaving the hub during scheduled performances

Communication with external persons while inside hubs

Any agreement or manipulation of match outcomes

Any form of betting or betting-related activity

Competition Rules

  • The Football Esports League consists of 80 qualified players.
  • Match format consists of two halves of 5 minutes.
  • Extra time, golden goal, and penalty shootouts are not supported.
  • Players compete in mini-tournaments of four or five players using a round-robin format.


Scoring system:
– Win: 3 points
– Draw: 1 point  
– Loss: 0 points

Mini-tournament ranking criteria:
1. Total points
2. Goal difference
3. Head-to-head result


First and second place receive prices. All results are recorded in a summary table ranked by success percentage, total wins, head-to-head results, total points, and goal difference.

Monthly and annual winners receive financial rewards, prizes, and qualification for international competitions organized by IESF, including FIFA Nations.

Grand Prix Finale 

The Grand Prix Finale consists of two phases, each lasting six months and consisting of six rounds.
The top ten players of each phase qualify for the semifinals.

Daily competition format consists of five players per shift competing in a round-robin system.

Daily rewards:

  • 1st place: +30%
  • 2nd place: +15%
  • 3rd-4th place: no change
  • 5th place: -15%

Leaderboard ranking is based on points, goal difference, and success rate.

Skill groups:

  • First Skill Group: Top 14 players
  • Second Skill Group: Positions 15-28
  • Third Skill Group: Positions 29-4X

Competition restrictions apply between skill groups. Player ratings are updated weekly on Saturdays.

Daily Rewards

1st place: Additional 30% of the day’s base

amount.

2nd place: Additional 15% of the day’s base

amount.

3rd and 4th place: No effect on daily rewards,

but points and stats are recorded.

5th place: Deduction of 15% from the day’s

base amount.

Leaderboard & Ranking:

Points: Total points earned for the day.

Goal Difference: Used in the ranking.

Success Rate: Determined by wins/total matches played.

Note: The success rate helps determine the overall player position.

Skill Groups:

First Skill Group: Top 14 players based on the ranking.

Second Skill Group: The next 14 players (positions 15-28).

Third Skill Group: The last 14 players (positions 29-4x).

Competition Rules by Skill Group

First Skill Group (Top 14):

        Players from the first skill group can only compete against players from their own group and players from the second skill group.
They cannot compete against players from the third skill group.

Second Skill Group (Positions 15-28):

             Players from the second skill group can compete with players from all three skill groups (first, second, and third).

Third Skill Group (Positions 29-4x):

        Players from the third skill group can only compete against players from their own group and players from the second skill group.
They cannot compete against players from the first skill group.

Rating

Weekly Updates:

Ratings are updated every Saturday, which affects the group formation for the upcoming week. The updated ratings determine the group placements, ensuring that players are matched according to their current performance.

Penalty for Insufficient Matches

Players who play fewer than 240 matches in a round will have their points halved and recorded in the Grand Prix table.

Grand Prix Table & Finale Qualification for Semifinals: The top 10 players qualify for the semifinals.

Semifinal Group Formation:

Group 1: 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th
Group 2: 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th

Grand Finale: The best 2 players from each group and the best third-place player
advance to the finale and compete for major financial rewards and prizes.

Rules

1. General rules

1.1 Participation in the eAdriaticLeague is possible only through qualifications organized by the eSport Federation of BiH, the Esport Federation of Serbia, the Esport Federation of the Republic of Srpska, the Esport Federation of Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro and eAdriaticLeague.

1.2 This tournament is not affiliated with or sponsored by Electronic Arts Inc. or its licensors

1.3 The competition is held exclusively in esports disciplines in 1 on 1 duels (face to face)

1.4 Players compete in sports simulations on PlayStation consoles

1.5 Hubs are located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro, and the same rules and integrity apply in all hubs

1.6 The competition in the league is held daily according to a previously established schedule that is published at least 12 hours on the official website

1.7 Matches are played under the supervision of esports supervisors delegated in front of the esports federations of the local countries in which the eAdriaticLeague is played, and the principles of the Anti-doping Agency and ESIC are strictly followed.

1.8 All matches are broadcasted live via YouTube and Twitch.

1.9 During the transmission of the matches, the player playing the match is also recorded, along with the gameplay from the console, the player is also shown, and exclusively only the video recording (audio from the hubs is not transmitted).

1.10 Players sign professional contracts with an esports club that competes in the league and receive financial compensation for this.

1.11 A player must be 18+ to be able to sign a professional contract with eAdriaticLeague and thus participate in a competition organized by eAdriaticLeague

1.12 In the event that a player causes damage to the club or the league, he can be held criminally and materially liable

1.13 Each player is obliged to provide maximum resistance in each match, regardless of previous results and regardless of the current score in the match.

1.14 In case of non-compliance with the rules, eAdriaticLeague will permanently disqualify the player, and in some cases, a lawsuit may be filed through our legal team.

2. Strictly prohibited

2.1 use of illegal substances (narcotics, doping agents…)

2.2 use of mobile phones during stay in eAdriaticLeague hubs

2.3 leaving eAdriaticLeague hubs during performances and returning

2.4 communication with people from the outside world during the stay in the eAdriaticLeague hub

2.5 any type of betting

2.6 any agreement on the outcome of matches

Competition rules
3.1 Football

3.1.1 The Football Esports League consists of 30 players who were obtained through qualifications

3.1.2 The football simulation competition is played exclusively on EA FIFA current version of Kick-Off mode on legendary difficulty level and standard team ratings for all teams and players.

3.1.3 FIFA matches are played 2 times for 5 minutes

3.1.4 Extra time, golden goal, penalties are not supported

3.1.5 Players play mini-tournaments consisting of 4 or 5 players and where everyone plays each other in a round robin

3.1.6 Mini-tournaments are scored as in the classic football league, where a win is equal to 3 points, a draw is 1 point and a loss does not bring any points

3.1.7 The winner of the mini-tournament is the one with the most points, and in the case of the same number of points, the better goal difference decides, then head to head

3.1.8 The first- and second-placed players receive additional financial bonuses for mini-tournaments, and the last-placed player is denied the financial amount that the second-placed player received as a bonus.

3.1.9 All results are also entered on the summary table where the results of all mini-tournaments are entered

3.1.10 The summary table is ranked exclusively by the percentage of success, in the case of the same percentage, the total number of wins, head to head, then the number of points, then the goal difference is looked at

3.1.11 Monthly and annual winners receive, in addition to monetary earnings according to the contract, they also receive valuable prizes, as well as the right to participate in international tournaments and championships organized by the world esports organization (IESF), as well as participation in FIFAe Nations

3.2 Basketball

3.2.1 The basketball esports league consists of 16 players who were obtained through qualifications

3.2.2 The basketball simulation competition is played exclusively on the current version of NBA2K and is played at the Hall of Fame level.

3.2.3 Matches are played in 4 periods of 5 minutes each, including any extra time

3.2.4 Mini-tournaments of 4 players are played

3.2.5 The winner of the mini-tournament is the player with the most wins, and in the case of the same ratio, it is decided by head to head, and then by basket of differences

3.2.6 First- and second-placed players receive additional financial bonuses for mini-tournaments, and the last-placed player is denied the financial amount that the second-placed player received as a bonus.

3.2.7 All results are also entered on the summary table where the results of all mini-tournaments are entered

3.2.8 The summary table is ranked exclusively by the percentage of success, in the case of the same percentage, the total number of wins, then head to head, then basket difference is looked at

Other
4.1 All results are updated instantly online

4.2 In the event of an interruption of any match for any reason, if the match cannot be resumed within the next 60 minutes, the match shall be forfeited and shall not be replayed.

4.3 The match can be replayed if:

a) wrong team selected
b) wrongly placed home/away team
c) started before the scheduled appointment

4.4 for all other situations the match will not be repeated

4.5 In the event that one of the players cannot perform for any reason, a substitute will appear in his place

Grand Prix Finale eAdriaticLeague 2025

The Grand Prix Finale is the culminating phase of the competition, divided into two phases: Grand Prix Finale 1 and Grand Prix Finale 2. Each phase spans six months, consisting of six rounds, during which players accumulate points toward the overall standings. The top ten players at the end of each phase will qualify for the semifinals. The finale includes two stages: the semifinal groups and the Grand Finale, which is held outdoors in front of a live audience. Players compete in a round-robin format, with the year’s top performers receiving major financial rewards and prizes. Daily Competition Format: Daily Groups: Each day, five players participate in a shift and compete in three competitions, determined by the organizer. Competition System: Round-robin format, where each player faces every other player.

Daily Rewards:
1st place: Additional 30% of the day’s base amount.
2nd place: Additional 15% of the day’s base amount.
5th place: Deduction of 15% from the day’s base amount.
3rd and 4th place: No effect on daily rewards, but points and stats are recorded.
